Spring Exfoliating

100% Pure Neapolitan Body Scrub Gift Set, Strawberry, Vanilla, & Cocoa Kona Coffee

It feels like spring and I am more than ready for summer to be here. I'm already planning out trips that include bathing suits. My skin, however, is not ready. So I'm on the lookout for some great exfoliaters. It will be no surprise that I have started my search with 100% Pure.

This exfoliating gift set is on clearance so I don't know how much longer it will be available. I liked the idea of a variety set so if I'm not thrilled with one I can try another.... or I can just have fun trying something new and a little different every day. That's always fun too!!

100% Pure Cocoa Kona Coffee Body Scrub

I started with the Cocoa Kona Coffee Body Scrub. I was really surprised by the strong coffee scent. I'm not a coffee drinker but I do love the way flavored coffees smell. The consistency was a bit different than I was expecting. It really does look like melted chocolate with coffee grounds in it. 100% Pure claims that this exfoliater will buff away bumps and flakes, increase circulation, discourage cellulite and help to remove toxins... and who doesn't want that? Right?!? Because of those claims I used it exclusively from the waist down. I really like the soft smooth feeling that it gave my legs. As for the part about cellulite and toxins, I have no idea how long I would have to use this to see those results so, I really have no comment. The only real complaint that I had with this was the incredible mess that I made in the shower while using it. Lol

100% Pure Vanilla Bean Body Scrub

The second flavor that I tried was the Vanilla Bean Body Scrub. I have to admit that I fell in love with this one at once. The scent is delicious, the consistency is exactly what I had in mind for an exfoliating scrub and it leaves your skin very smooth and soft. I do have to add that it also leaves your skin feeling like you already used lotion and that's not really what I'm going for while in the shower. So when I was finished using this scrub, I followed with my normal shower gel. (Currently the Pink Grapefruit Shower Gel from 100% Pure)

I have used this one daily on my hands and feet and love the results so far. In this case the lotion feeling is greatly appreciated. I do still add a moisturizer but I can take my time in getting around to it. This scrub doesn't dry me out.

100% Pure Strawberry Body Scrub

After starting with the coffee scrub and making such a big mess, I was a little hesitant in trying this pink, strawberry scrub. I'm glad that I didn't let that stop me for long because this scrub is scrumptious. The strawberry scent is light and fresh, not at all perfumy or overpowering. In short I found this flavor to work the same as the vanilla. The descriptions on the labels read almost exactly the same.

I am so pleased with the results of these body scrubs that I'm not sure that I really need to look much further. Especially since I have so much in these three little tubs. Each is 6 fl oz. This is a gift set, so I was expecting smaller containers, more of sample sizes.
